PhD students positions:

Prospective students (can be from Slovenia, EU, or any other state) are invited to apply for PhD degree (mainly research, and partially teaching positions) at Laboratory of E-media in the following areas:

• computer communications;
• networks security (wired, wireless, mobile);
• web and cloud security;
• internet of things (IoT) security;
• identity management;
• information warfare and cyber security;
• risk analysis, modeling and management;
• security evaluations / metrics;
• information systems (IS) security management and audit;
• software and applications security;
• trust modeling;
• trust and reputation management;
• trustworthy computing;
• privacy formalization and modeling;
• privacy-preserving computing;
• computer crime and forensics;
• economics of security and privacy;
• advanced business information technologies and e-business;
• human factor modeling.

Conditions for applications:

• completed (or just about to be completed) M.Sc. degree, or equivalent, in the area of computer and information sciences (the average grade should be at least 8 or equivalent);
• alternatively, exceptional candidates may also apply with a degree in the areas of electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics.
